The management of FORTISCHEM a.s. held its first meeting on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, under the motto “Žijeme s regiónom” (We live with the region). The invitation extended by the CEO, Mr. Mgr. Ján Křička, was accepted by the Mayor of Nováky, Mr. Ing. Branislav Adamec, the Head of the Crisis Management Department, Mr. Ing. Dušan Krovina, the Head of the Environmental Care Department, Ms. Ing. Darina Mjartanová, the Chief Officer of the District Office in Prievidza, Mr. Mgr. Juraj Gordan, the representative for the Director of the District Fire and Rescue Corps in Prievidza, Colonel Ing. Zuzana Javorková, and the Mayor of the village of Zemianske Kostoľany, Ms. Ing. Jana Školíková. The new leadership of FORTISCHEM a.s., which took over the company in 2021, declared a vision for how it envisions the future cooperation of the company with the town of Nováky, surrounding municipalities, state authorities, and institutions. Collaboration and mutual communication should be open and transparent with all stakeholders, built on the foundations of socially responsible and environmentally sustainable business practices. The company’s goal is to produce quality products and manage processes in a safe environment, environmentally friendly and in compliance with applicable legislation, while maintaining sustainable development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the rights of future generations. The result of this cooperation should be mutual support, strengthening mutually beneficial collaboration. Feedback from the invited guests was positive. They agreed that they would have a hard time functioning without each other. The guests wished the company good luck with its investment projects and praised the existing cooperation, which is at a very high level. The symbiosis between FORTISCHEM a.s. and the region is welcome and highly desired.
